Review content:
Dr. Isaacson is the most caring and patient vet that I have ever encountered. I brought one of my cats to her after spending a pants load of money at another vet. I made anappointment online while the office was closed and received a response immediately. In her response Dr. Isaacson expressed concern for my cat and urged me to seek immediate medical attention elsewhere if his condition worsened before his appointment at Prospect Heights Animal Hospital the following day. She was way more concerned with his health than with making a buck and was willing to send me an email during her day off for the sake of my cat. Recently I had to take my other cat in for pancreatitis and a fatty liver. Her health has improved, but it was touch and go for a while. During the most challenging period of caring for my cat Dr. Isaacson was in contact with by either phone or email daily. When we decided that it was time for my cat to have an ultrasound she arranged for her staff to make an appointment at another animal hospital for me. I have never felt this comfortable or satisfied with a vet. The staff at PHAH is also very friendly and helpful. They remember my cats and even stop to say hello to them when I bring them in. I suspect that Dr. Isaacson is equally as good with dogs. She recently hired a partner vet, who works on Wednesdays. I saw her when I first brought one of my cats in. She is also wonderful. She and Dr. Isaacson also seem to do a good job of communicating with one another about their clients. Overall I have to say that the staff and doctors have good chemistry and that this has to be one of the best places to take your pets! Oh, and they do not try to sell you fancy products and expensive brands of food unless your pet really needs them!
