Review content:
I took my cat in to see Dr. Kirschner for an eye problem he's been struggling with for several weeks. When I called to make the appt. the first one they had available was 3 weeks out. I re-arranged my schedule in order to take him in because I wanted him to be seen ASAP. When I arrived (on time), I was given a history sheet to fill out. I turned it in, and continued to wait. After a half an hour of waiting, I asked if I had written down the wrong appointment time. I was informed that I had the correct time but that 3 ""fit-ins"" were before me (doesn't an appt. come before a ""fit-in""? Why did I wait 3 weeks for an appt. if I could have just walked in?). Meanwhile, my poor cat was trembling in the corner of his carrier because he was so scared of all the dogs in the waiting room. After an HOUR of waiting, they finally called me in. The only apology that I was offered was by the vet tech. No else seemed concerned that I had been waiting for an hour. Needless to say, I was very disappointed with the customer service aspect of the practice, as well as their disregard for the well-being of my cat. I would recommend avoiding this particular practice if you can. I am going to try to get an appointment with a vet eye Dr. on the eastside from now on, even though it is much further from my home. Pros: Close-in Beaverton Cons: Poor customer service, not very cat friendly
