Saw a description for Mint Cafe on Citysearch and decided to try it out. What a great little place! We decided to order a few appetizer plates, thinking we wouldn't have any trouble polishing them off. Wrong! The portions were HUGE! I found the Hummus to be a bit bland, but they probably have some of the best Baba Ghanouge that I have tasted - you could tell the eggplants had been roasted, which totally brought out the flavor. The Kibbeh is not worth ordering, but the Ardishawki (steamed artichoke with light garlic, olive juice, cilantro and lemon juice was amazing - beautiful and totally worth the effort of eating! The Grilled Halloum was nice and tasty as well as the Kafta Kabob Halabi (although the halabi part, "spicy sauce" was basically a red bell pepper blend, the grilled meat was delicious). I was utterly delighted with this find and can't wait to go back again. Oh yeah, and one thing that is not mentioned on any advertising is that it is BYOB! Pros: Yummy Food Cons: Small cafe (with way too many kids at times..)
