Review content:
I called several transmission shops on Saturday, to only get an answering machine. I was not aware transmission shops are normally closed on weekends. I was about to give up when I called Eagle Transmissions in Austin Texas @ 512-448-4747 @ 6218 Manchaca Rd. My call was quickly answered by Joe Warner. He was extremely nice and offered me information about his shop. He gave me a level of comfort that I don't normally come across easily when dealing with auto repair. I looked up the Eagle Transmission site while on the phone with Joe and realized Joe was the owner. How awesome was that? Not only did Joe have all the calls to his shop picked up over the weekend, he had the calls transferred to his personal cell. This really identified the depth of care the owners had at this shop. I was hooked. I took my car in for some minor transmission work and was even able to use a $25 coupon I found on-line. There is a $250 coupon available for Major Repairs, mine was minor. My vehicle was ready within 24 - 36 hours. WOW! No excuses, no nothing, other then your car is ready sir. The last shop I had it at "Corrie's Transmissions" out of San Antonio never got the issue fixed. I had to take it to Corrie's Transmissions three times with no resolve. Could Eagle Transmissions be this good? THEY WERE THAT GOOD!!. My car's tranny is fixed, no leaks, and feels strong, and at a pretty decent price. I have never had a positive auto experience in my entire life until now. How freaking awesome. Oh and guess what? Joe Warner, just personally called me (two weeks) after the repair to follow-up with me. I was really in disbelief that Joe was calling. Could he be opening up a can of worms? Not if he felt very strongly about his service and repair, and he was right. Great Service and repair. I just got off the phone with Joe and thanked him for reaching out to confirm customer satisfaction with the repair and service. As long as this place is in business I will always offer my positive experience with them to anyone who wants info. You are welcome to email me at calaban55@yahoo if you would like to speak to me about their great service, if your not convinced yet. Do yourself a favor and reach out to Joe or Tim his manager.
Pros: The Owners Care about their business
Cons: I only found out about them this year
