On block north of Franklin Blvd, at 1883 Garden Avenue, is Onsen Spas. Near the University of Oregon, these outdoor spas have been located at this out of the way spot along the river since 1981.
Fourteen private units that are open to the sky feature covered dressing areas. Enjoy an hourly spa rental in clean and relaxing waters. They are open between noon and midnight.
Gift certificates are available, as are towel rentals. They also offer sodas. The spas are handicapped accessible.
They also sell spas, and some models are available for "test soaks".
