A great new addition to Boulder's dining scene, The Kitchen brings flavor to your table by using fresh, local ingredients. The limited (8 entree choices) but ever changing menu is created based on what's fresh that day. We started with the silky house pate and the well-presented cheese plate. Both were very good with the interesting, rustic, bread. For our entrees we tried the Coq au Vin served with Isreali Couscous (much better than you could imagine) and the Hanger Steak served with greens and au gratin potatoes (just wonderful). The use of fresh, organic produce really make the flavors pop! The wine list is interesting but a little pricey, The service was very good. The tables are pretty close together here so I hope you're not closterphobic. The sticky toffee pudding for dessert was okay but don't bother saving room for it, just have more appetizers! We'll be back! Pros: Fresh Ingredients, Great Flavors Cons: Tight Seating, Parking
