The Outagamie County Historical Society is located inside an old mason temple. It's claim to fame is the display they have as a tribute to the magician, Harry Houdini, an Appleton native. They offer much more than that though. They have wonderful programs, even for children, to teach them about how people lived many, many years ago. It leaves a lasting impression on old and young about holiday traditions, inventions, and the hardships our ancestors must have faced.
