With Tiffany, you pay for the name. Their merchandise is beautiful and of high quality, but you can find similar items for far less at other stores. What you are paying for is the Tiffany brand. Their flagship store on Madison Avenue is a lovely place to explore, but avoid it at Christmas time when it is so busy that it becomes a zoo. The store is not conveniently laid out and you have to take a very slow elevator between floors.
