I've been using Salon Techniques since I was born practically, my family lives down the street.
I find that it's easy to get an appointment, usually they'll have one open the next day if you're not picky about who's doing your hair (or nails, or eyebrows, etc.).
I find that their prices are a little high. No higher than any other salon, but significantly higher than, say for example, Fantastic Sam's.
I would suggest for a hair cut asking for Jenny. She does an excellent job, is a very nice girl, and you can get your hair washed, cut, styled, and blown out for I about $20 (don't forget to tip though!)
