Academy Sports and Outdoors is a nice store. They have a wide selection of items and most are reasonably priced. The store in Lufkin has a great staff and it is always kept clean. People are always there to help if you need them or if you have a question about something. If they don't know the answer to a question they try and find out.
There is a wide variety of sporting equiptment and workout equiptment that many people use. They even have shoes for different things like walking, running, tennis, bowling, football, soccer, etc. The store is pretty good.
The only thing I wish they would change at all Academys is that they need to carry bowling equiptment. All they carry are a few shoes but no balls or anything. That's the only thing I dislike because I know there are quiet a few people out there that still go bowling.
All together Academy is a great store and you can usually find anything you want relating to sports, fishing, hunting, or anything else outdoors.
