It's about the Music 4/15/2006

The Coach House is borderline "dive bar" thanks to its longevity (read: it's a bit OLD), but fortunately it provides an intimate atmosphere for bands and fans. Over the years, I've seen Aimee Mann, Teitur, Jonatha Brooke...and I nearly saw Neil Finn, but I wasn't quick enough with the tickets. Dinner reservations get you a good seat, but this place is fairly small and therefore few "bad seats". The food is just ok: there isn't a great deal to choose from, and that steak you order medium rare might end up rare or medium well. Again, go to see your favorite musicians in the intimacy of a small venue: this is so rare these days, it truly must be taken advantage of. more
