The breakfast may not be cheap ($8 for two pancakes) but at least you can get it at 10pm. All the food is good here except the salads, which are on the sad side (basic house salad is OK). The Tibetan momos (dumplings) are a real treat, garlicky and accompanied by three dipping sauces. I understand they are made locally and delivered every morning. The $8 pancakes I've had were damn good, at least. You can also get beer, wine, a wide variety of teas, smoothies, and coffee drinks. The bookstore is terrific as well with a very good magazine selection. Busy at dinner hour and on weekends, but the staff won't bother you and you can stay there for a long time. Pay at the front desk before you leave and don't forget to tip your waitress, either at the table or on your card. Bathroom is halfway back next to the New Age section and requires no key. Free wi-fi.
