EST is a New York institution offering great off-off-Broadway theatre, as well as acting classes and internship opportunities. Their annual one act festival, Marathon, is great. They also produce the Sloane Festival which focuses on works related to science and technology and a host of other innovative programming. Definitely a part of the New York theater scene to support.
