This is a good place to bring your kids to at least once--for there is nothing else like it in the area. Beyond that, however, it's not spectacular. Maybe I'm just not into butterflies and bugs enough. If you have kids that are into holding "crawly see-ums" then you might rate this facility a bit higher.
The Conservatory is beautiful. They also offer a birthday party package which might be a unique way to celebrate, if your kids are into that. They also host weddings there, but being in the wedding business, I can say that most of the couples I work with who check it out do not end up booking there. Butterflies may sound all romantic, but once inside, it's well...BUGGY!
Go one time--it's definitely different.
