I feel so horrible for the puppies. They haven't done anything and they don't deserve what they have already been through. The signs say that they are hand picked for NYS breeders but they aren't. The one puppy we were interested in was from Wynadotte, OK. The lady said that the breeders, the Kerrs, initially lived in NY but moved to Oklahoma so the puppies get delivered once a month by truck. I did some research on the Kerrs and here is what I found. There is no record of Margaret and her husband Berkley living in NY. From 1989 to at least 2001, they were living in Kansas. They still come up listed as having a place in Kansas as well as one in Oklahoma.
A court case where Margaret Kerr was suing because she didn't want to have to follow state regulations.

In 2001, the American Kennel Club suspended the Kerrs for not permitting an inspection of records and practices.

How can you properly care for almost 300 dogs?

I urge you to do more research on puppy mills. Some puppy mill owners sell the puppies to a broker for as little at $60 and then you are asked to pay $700-$1000. You can find a champion bred puppy from a AKC licensed breeder for $1000. The puppies are adorable but some of them could be very sick. Please stop buying from Pet Depot, you are only helping them hurt more puppies.
