Good: Jeff Gold is competent, communicates in layman's terms, is honest and tells it like it is. He made it very clear what actions I had to take the lead on and assure they were accomplished before my court date. I did. That and Mr. Gold's knowledge in the ways of the court and his ability to negotiate respectfully with the court, three of four counts I was being charged with were dismissed. No small accomplishment.
Bad: If there was a down side, and there truly was not, it would be my out of pocket cost for everything due directly to my bad decisions that got me where I was in the first place. I am a senior and a widow living on a fixed income, and have had zero life experience in the world of DUI and the legal system. I was strongly advised by both family and good friends to secure competent DUI counsel. I purposefully wanted one who was tough but fair minded. I did my own research and found Jeff Gold to be that attorney. I believe firmly one gets what one pays for, and I made an excellent choice in the selection of the Gold & Witham team.
