This museum is an absolute must for any aviation fan. Begin your visit with a flight simulation that will set your children cackling. After you get your feet back on solid ground, step through the exhibits and transport yourself from the beginning of flight to the current shuttle missions. There's even a replica of Lindbergh's Spirit of St. Louis. I especially loved the Lindbergh exhibit. There are a few interactive activities for the kids, but mainly, lots of history and a sense of accomplishment. There's never a lot of foot traffic here which gives you a more private and satisfying experience than most museums in the vicinity.
