I have been seeing Dr. Camilla Hersh for 9 years and she is AMAZING!. There is a reason she is consistently in Washingtonian Magazine's Top 100 Doctors list. She is extremely professional, knowledgeable, dedicated, and has a fantastic ability to diagnose "mystery" problems where other doctors have failed. After 10+ years of being in pain I was referred to Dr. Hersh by a co-worker that said she loved her GYN. Dr. Hersh was able to diagnose and effectively treat a problem that several other doctors told me I would just have to live with. Then, when I had incredible pain a year later all of my test results came back normal and all of the doctors I had seen told me there was nothing they could do. Although I was told my issue was not gynecological, I decided to seek Dr. Hersh's opinion anyways because I trust her. She spent time listening to me, reviewing my medical records and tests, and even sent me for a few tests that others had not. It turned out to be a gynecological issue after all. Because we decided surgery was the best option, she recommended I get a 2nd opinion to put my mind at ease, which I did. That doctor completely agreed with her diagnosis. When Dr. Hersh performed the surgery she found a large tumor and because she caught it in time it had no cancer cells. Dr. Hersh is an AMAZING doctor. Not only did she completely improve my quality of life, she may have saved it as well.
