For local suburb theatres, the Edwards in Calabasas is a great place for a movie. It offers great stadium seating, various screens with different types of movies, great sounds, great picture quality. The theatre does have advertisements still. This is a big hassel for those who are anxious to get directly to the movie. A typical screening will hold several trailers as well as several commercials. The theatre is also located in the Calabasas Commons which is a great place to spend a night out. It has restaurants of various scale and price, a big Barnes and Noble book store, and other stores. There is also plenty of outdoor seating on benches and tables. The theatree is pretty clean and, again, does have good picture and sound quality. Also stadium seating is great to have.
