Francis Camera on Kapiolani Blvd does seem to attract clients who are very knowledgeable and are professionals in the photography field. I also agree that the staff there did not have much patience for us newbies asking questions. I felt inferior to them and they did not seem to want me touching their equipment.
If you are looking for an expensive camera and have the money to spend on it, then go to Francis Camera because they will probably carry it. Otherwise, go to Shirokiya or CompUSA because the staff is more helpful and patient with people browsing around.
