I love to go to the Aveda Institute and get pampered without draining my pocketbook. All services are provided by students, but as long as you are patient and not in a hurry, they usually do a very good job and are well supervised. A $13 haircut includes a head massage, makeup application, and usually a hand massage from students that are practicing that service.
