To give some weight to this review, I'm French, and food is one of the very few things I miss here.
And whenever somebody's asking me about a nice restaurant, my first answer is... Harvest Vine, but that's another review... Whenever somebody's asking me about a good French restaurant, Cafe Campagne is the way to go.
Don't try to be fancy and go upstairs. If your only concern is the food, then stay in the cafe. They have most of the great entrees. They change depending on the day of the week.
If you don't know what to get, the regular 'steak with fries' is always a good time behind your fork. And if the Cassoulet is on the menu, and you're feeling strong, that's one of the best dishes I've eaten around here!
