Few weeks ago, a different dentist at her clinic told me that I need 2 small fillings. When I came to the clinic to take care of this, Dr. Pai tried to convince me to not fix the fillings, and instead to do 2 crowns. She did not show me any X-rays and tried to explain the reasons that one crown is required because otherwise she will need to remove a large portion of the tooth for the small filling, so it is better to do a crown. The second crown is required because the existing crown is old. I tried to talk with her more about it. Also, I asked for a quote and explained that I was not prepared for the treatment right away. Since she was preparing to start on the crowns without my full consent, I had to be strong in order to stop her. At that point I was left alone on the chair and had to get out with no assistance and proper checkout.
