Sad, sad, sad situation here. I came to P.A.R.C. because I heard good things but I think overtime the place fell apart. While in treatment my world and the facility got turned upside down. There was a lot of tension among the staff and there were rumors of the bills not getting payed and the place closing down. We asked about these rumors and up until the very last minute were told it wasn't true and then guess what... All the staff quit! We were left with one staff member trying to do his best who stayed with us for 18 hours! After that, the place was indeed shut down and I went home minus my recovery and minus $9,000! Plus gruesome bedbug bites! Yes, bedbugs! Shameful! Last I heard the scam artist (owner) is trying to reopen the facility without a license in downtown Colorado Springs at the old Hearthstone Inn and is trying to lump it in with the sober living facility that he also owns and is currently using that space. How is that going to work? Unlicensed recovery center....hmmmmm..... all I can tell you is beware!
