Seems like I only write bad reviews but…\r Seems like I only write bad reviews but I thought PARC was deserving of a few minutes to write a good one. Not sure that the review I read below was actually for the same place, or if it was by someone that maybe got kicked out? But, sending out 18 year old son, who just finished his treatment at Peak Addiction Recovery Center was one of the best decisions we have ever made. They are beyond affordable, comprehensive, and attentive to individual needs and care. Thank you for all you guys do! Family sessions were great. Our son is great! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! more

Sad, sad, sad situation here. I came to P.A.R.C. because I heard good things but I think overtime the place fell apart. While in treatment my world and the facility got turned upside down. There was a lot of tension among the staff and there were rumors of the bills not getting payed and the place closing down. We asked about these rumors and up until the very last minute were told it wasn't true and then guess what... All the staff quit! We were left with one staff member trying to do his best who stayed with us for 18 hours! After that, the place was indeed shut down and I went home minus my recovery and minus $9,000! Plus gruesome bedbug bites! Yes, bedbugs! Shameful! Last I heard the scam artist (owner) is trying to reopen the facility without a license in downtown Colorado Springs at the old Hearthstone Inn and is trying to lump it in with the sober living facility that he also owns and is currently using that space. How is that going to work? Unlicensed recovery center....hmmmmm..... all I can tell you is beware! more

Run, don't walk away from this place. My son was there for about 10 days recently and in that time they ran out of petty cash so groceries were down to very little, no milk, bread, other staples. Bed bugs in the linens. Very little staff with several walking off the job. Impossible to get a phone call returned. Very little if any one on one counseling sessions although this was what we were paying $9500 a month for. Dirty conditions throughout the house. The center closed without notice and my son left with the other residents. Several of these residents had no where to go. 2 days before it closed, they called me asking to pay the additional $6500 earlier than was required knowing they were going to shut down. We now have him in a treatment Center in Parker. Wonderful staff and conditions.\r This place needs to be investigated. I believe they have helped others in the past, but they have fallen apart in the recent months. We went for family Night after he had been there a few days expecting to meet staff and get to know everyone but guess what? No staff except for a couple young employees who wanted nothing to do with the families there. No 45 minute family session as promised. Just a total lack of all professionalism.\r Stay away! more

Worth every penny. Probably the best. 12/12/2011

I wrote a review on another location - and thought I would paste it here, maybe to help a few readers. This listing is for a transitional living home for PARC. The main facility is on The Pikes Peak Highway - I originally got confused by this listing. Main facility number is 7190684-2484. Call them! They will help in amazing ways! I read reviews of Peak Addiction Recovery Center, called, got information, and got my son admitted. They were one of the only treatment facilities to call us back, and actually talk to us about our son, and the solutions, like a person not like a salesman. All I can say is THANK YOU FOR GIVING US OUR SON BACK!! He has been to two other treatment facilities and nothing has worked, until we went to P.A.R.C.! We will be forever grateful for all that you have done. Mike and Doc Chuck; you should be proud of what you have put together. Everything was as close to perfect as we could have imagined. more

The worst in colorado! 6/13/2011

The worst experience imaginable! We tried to help an employee great treatment here. They were great up until we paid and the patient arrived. We paid for full price up front. After we paid the patient left after a very short visit. They would not return calls, emails etc. They had the patient sign paperwork that would not allow for any refunds. We felt very much taken advantage of. It’s almost as if they want patients to leave so they don’t have to do the work of helping them. We found a different place that the employee went to and it was a completely different experience. I wouldn’t use this place for anything, very unethical. more
