Last weekend my boyfriend & I decided to get off the couch and do something fun. We both fancy ourselves as bike connoisseurs, so we settled on SFBR. We asked Rob (the owner) to recommend a challenging ride...you know, not something your grandma would wanna do. He told us about the Tiburon route, but we opted for The Marin Headlands Loop (10 miles, 2.5 hours). My boyfriend & I raced each other the entire way there and were WAY too exhausted to peddle all the way back. Fortunately, Rob said we could ditch the bikes there for about $3 extra. We're planning on going back this weekend to try the same route at a more leisurely pace. Would def recommend for couples, lovers of the bay area, and fitness junkies.
