BHL consistently set deadlines upon me to submit my information and paperwork. I consistently met them, BHL did not. The story is long and frustrating, with the similar theme of me meeting difficult, last minute requests, and BHL consistently failing to follow through. Two weeks after our closing our employers were STILL getting calls trying to verify our employment. I can't imagine what BHL was doing in the many weeks that they had my information, but it certainly wasn't preparing my loan paperwork. If you are selling an old and buying a new home, I would not recommend BHL. The timing is tricky enough, and my experience tells me that the process would fail. If you are refinancing and have all the time and patience in the world...you can't beat the rate. But KEEP ON your final processor. Contact them at LEAST weekly to make sure that they are doing their part.
