We had Tom install wallpaper for us at our home. Due to careless workmanship, there was a tear in one of the panels. He attempted to patch it but it was still noticeable. Tom refused to be responsible for the cost of a new roll since it was ""industry standard"" for tears to occur. I've never heard of a professional wallpaper installer state that tears were common or that they wouldn't be responsible for them if they did occur, that's just ridiculous. I would not recommend this contractor to anyone. If I had wanted tears in my wallpaper I would have just done it myself.
