I recently experienced a clog in my main drain pipe so that water would not go down the drain or the toilet. So I called Roto-Rooter in Honolulu. Matt and Donovan, the Roto-Rooter plumber & technician who were sent to my home in Hawaii Kai were both efficient and effective in fixing my problem, which was caused by tree roots which had invaded the Y-Joint underground. They had to dig a trench four feet deep and eight feet long to reach the drain pipe, and replace the old with the new pipes. What impressed and please me about their work was that they explained each step to me, as they progressed, and showed me what was wrong when they reached the underground problem. They also asked me for permission, before trimming back some overhanging branches that were hindering their backhoe. And they were very careful about not damaging the existing landscaping.
