I have been to Fairplay Horse & Mule twice, and I would recommend the folks there for persons in the area looking to purchase a horse. I've seen people consign horses with them (or trade horses) in which the horses they are using to barter were underweight or not in the best condition. How many horse sellers do you know would take the time to pull the horses from the active sale horse listings and care for them to ensure they are 100% healthy and sound? \r

I never had an issue with them when I was there. I was especially grateful to see underage riders wearing (and required to wear) helmets when riding horses or ponies as well. \r
