Decided to stop in Amarillo for the night but was concerned that we wouldn't be able to find a decent hotel that would take our dog. Found it in the Ambassador Hotel. We were treated very nice too by everyone at the hotel. They even had some doggie treats for Millie, our sheltie. We had breakfast at the hotel, and it was really good. Everything you could ask for in a breakfast. Plenty of places to take the dog out for a walk too.
