As I prepare to start a new chapter of my life, in a new location, I think back over the man timer and many ways you've reached out to help me since our first meeting in 1990. \r
Our welcome association began when you showed the rental apartment where I've lived in peace and comfort for the past 21 years. I had scarcely finished moving in when I was sidelined by a life-threatening injury that required three month for full recovery. I know you worked closely with my family members during this troubled time to make sure I would still have a place to live when I got back on my feet. That means you have reached out-far beyond the ""call of duty"" almost since Day One.\r
Needless to say, the apartment I've called home for more than 2 decades has occasionally required repairs or maintenance. And your hard work, Arlene, your competence and skill as property manager, have made each event almost effortless on my part. I frequently have reason to compare my own positive experiences as your tenant with the exasperation of fellow city-dwellers; their hard feelings are a regular feature of the daily news. There were certainly other available apartments I might have rented, so I've realized all along that it was my good luck to ring the bell at 26 butler place.\r
When I began searching for a private house to buy in Brooklyn, you supplied me with a constant feed of available properties. Most recently you referred me to the mortgage originator who has treated me with great deference and cordiality.\r
At every turn of our real estate road you've been a savvy, skilled professional. But I am most grateful for your deeply compassionate Human touch.
