I also had a horrible experience with Time Square. When I went in to have a battery replaced and a link taken out of a watch, I quickly found the owner to be extremely rude and very unhelpful. I explained that I needed a link removed from a watch and the battery replaced. I also had a running watch that I had previously attempted to replace the battery in myself. Unfortunately, one screw had been stripped so I asked the man if he could also get the screw out so I could put my own battery in that I already bought and was holding in my hand. He became irritated that I wasn't asking him to actually change the battery for me and that he wasn't going to be able to charge me extra for the second watch. He told me that the first watch would be $10 for the link and an additional $10 for the battery. This seemed fairly steep but I was willing to pay as he was going to remove a simple screw from my other watch. When I came back to pick up the watches, I paid the outrageous $22 for the first watch. Then he handed me my other watch with the last screw removed. I asked how to take the back off and he refused to tell me, simply saying ""if you want me to change the battery I will"". All the owner wanted was to charge me another $10 when I already paid him $22! Again, I already had the battery and it would take 5 second to put it in. The owner refused to help and ultimately told me that he didn't want me in his shop. Just be forewarned the customer service is terrible here!
