I was referred to Dr Stewart by my optometrist. I am giving him a 5 star rating based on the things that are most important - the surgery process and success. I had an rk (radial keratotomy) back around 1980 and Dr. Stewart cautioned me that the surgery can be less successful on non-virgin eyes. Nevertheless, one week after surgery I am seeing 20/20 using the operated eye. He explained everything in detail and recommended what he thought best for me - not the most expensive lenses available.
The surgery staff was excellent and the procedure went as promised, quickly and almost painlessly.
The office staff quality is mixed. Alfred and Aurelia were very friendly and knowledable. Some of the others seemed to just want to get me scheduled and out the door. Bring sunglasses to your office appointment because you will be going home with your eyes dilated BE SURE TO GET THE DETAILS OF LENS CHOICE AND DISTANCE SELECTION FROM DR. STEWART HIMSELF.
