Place USED to be great place to take family but not anymore. There has been bulletts shot into mobile homes, thefts of golf carts, small hauling trailer,and also on or about August 1st, 2011 a 40 foot Heritage Park Mobile home and all of its contents stolen from the campgrounds!!!!! The thieves also stole everything out of both sheds on property. Even though there's only 1 way in & out of place there obviously is no security (even though there are security gates, they don't work because the electricity has been shut off to them). All of which has been reported (PLEASE CHECK with the Lafeyette Sheriffs Department they can confirm that this isn't a lie --everything mentioned here is FACT and they are very acquainted with this campground !!!) Not safe for families to go there & enjoy anymore. Just as ""nodeal"" said the place is run down, swimming pool green & nasty and in addition to all that you have the thefts & shootings. This is really no place for anyone to go. It doesn't even deserve a star anymore.
