The folks here posting good things about the Peloton are only kidding themselves. This sort of place is the bane to what Boulder stands for - but I guess when you are retiring from California or sending your 18 year old to CU, dropping 350k+ on poorly constructed unit as you really have no practical sense of reality.
The units themselves are pretty dismal. Cheap craftsmenship and cost-cutting is abound. Check your paint job. See your concrete ceiling above your head? Ever wonder while your 895sq ft piece of heaven is really dusty all of the time - that cheap concrete is partly to blame.
I guess in quick summary, whether you are 18 or 81, the Peloton creates a pretty awkward environment for everyone involved. From the insane HOA who will cite you from everything from keeping your balcony light on, to storing plants, to the lovely smell of weed and cheap liquor to the elevators on the weekends, the people peeling out leaving the outdoor parking the Peloton may just be right for you! Given that a high-number of units are already for sale, people are obviously learning quickly and that this place is nothing more than a developer's dream and a residents nightmare.
