My 3 experiences w/ Apex Sales Co were all very disappointing. I took 2 yard tools (hedge trimmer & string trimmer) to be serviced. The 1st person I dealt with was rude & acted as if my bringing these tools in was a burden. They also had me provide a $15 deposit in case they did the problem determination work & I didn't show up & pay for the work. I was told it would be a few weeks & they would call when ready. After 6 weeks, I called & was told the tools had been ready for awhile (not sure why no one called). I was told the bill was roughly $40 & only hedge trimmer was fixed (too much to fix string trimmer) -- thus, $25 given my $15 deposit. When I arrived to pick up my tools, they then informed me that the person I spoke with was mistaken & that I still owed $40 (even though the written receipt showed $25). I was told that the string trimmer diagnostics was not included on the receipt... needless to say, I will not be going back -- will go to Burke Brothers in Raleigh. more
