I've taken my GSD here twice so far and we love it. They are super friendly and much cheaper than the animal hospital my parents take their dogs in the same general area. The puppy package was a great deal, and they give you money off of the cost of fixing your pet if youve purchased the puppy package which was a nice surprise. I see a lot of reviews complaining about prices and I think theyre incredibly reasonable. Vets are like doctors, I guess it just seems more since most people have insurance and most pets dont. They are also very accomodating. As we were checking in to his surgery to be neutered we asked to also have his dewclaws removed and they added it without a problem. Dr. Balke is always so sweet to my dog and answers all my lengthy worry-wart questions. The waiting room is hectic, understandably. Especially if you have an overfriendly dog like mine who wants to play with every other pet and owner. Just expect to be on hold for quite awhile if you are calling after buisness hours, the hospital is open 24 hours a day (which is super convenient) but anytime I call past five or so Im on hold forever. Its the only issue Ive had and I dont care enough about it to make it my reason to stop going.
