My mother has been married for 25 years, but never got to have a real wedding ceremony. For their anniversary, we are throwing them a vow renewal, and she will finally get to wear a pretty white dress and feel like a princess.... no thanks to David's Bridal.\r
Althought the person we made the appointment with was friendly and quite considerate, the consultant we were assigned when we actually got there seemed to think we were a waste of her time. Once we told her we were there for the $99 gown sale, she seemed to lose interest. She gave us very few dresses to try on, was inconsiderate of my mother (who was nervous about undressing in front of a total stranger--our consultant didn't even give us the option to let me help her dress instead), and generally made us feel as if we were cheap and wasting her time. She left us alone for long periods of time with nothing to do, and only brought us four dresses to try on, although she could have gone up a few sizes and pinned them to show my mother more styles that were on sale. Needless to say, we were very disappointed, and I was very displeased that she would make my mother feel anything but beautiful and catered to for her long-belated wedding.
