I am so happy I did it! Originally I spoke over the phone to Chalene for a few months until I finally came in. I was nervous about taking the next step. I even cancelled my first appointment (I said I had a Dr's Appointment) after gaining some courage I put my fears aside and went to meet with Jamie. We began to talk about what my fears were about doing this and I realized I just didn't know what to expect.
We ended up talking for a few hours and I felt very confident after understanding what they actually do. I told Jamie what worked for me in past relationships and what didn't, what my values are like and my interests. I felt like she really “got” me.
We discussed the different programs and she customized something for me. It was a small investment but I loved how she would pick the right men for me for the right reasons. After about a week I had my professional pictures taken and I was ready to get started!
I was very excited and optimistic to see who she would pick for me. A few days later we looked at the match she chose for me. He was successful and attractive and we seemed to have quite a bit in common. We talked over the phone for about a week and then met for dinner. He was very sweet but not for me. Jamie and I discussed what didn't work and she gave me some constructive criticism and some coaching.
A few weeks later it was time to review my next match. He was more laid back than my first match which Jamie and I had discussed. He was again successful and attractive. We began speaking the very same day. We had instant chemistry even over the phone and I couldn't wait to meet him. We spoke for a few days and couldn't wait any longer and had to meet even before the weekend. We went to dinner and it felt like we had known each other forever. We kissed that night and set up a date for the weekend. I couldn't help but text Jamie after our date because I was so excited! I told all of my girlfriends!
Adam and I shared so many things in common that it just fell into place. We were both newly divorced and our marriages seemed to be almost identical. We are both very family oriented, both love traveling, share the same spiritual beliefs. It has been about 9 months and we have recently moved in together and joined families. We are happy just being together and an engagement may be in our near future but we are happy how we are now. I wanted to share my experience because I know many people were in my shoes. If you have a lot to offer you deserve the same and I'm thankful I stepped up and did something about it. Thank you for all of your hard work and introducing me to my wonderful man!!
