The lady at the front desk was very nice, the first room we got, some of the lights did not work, but she quickly arranged another room for us. At request Lake Shore view room was given at no extra cost. The room was clean and nice. The hotel is only 10-15mins away from Downtown. Also, free parking was a bonus (as I drove to Chicago). Other downtown hotels charge atleast $30 for overnight parking.
