Our 2 1/2 year old LG 42" TV was fine when turned off then was dead when we tried to turn it back on a few hours later--it had sound but no picture. My daughter in-law called all over to try to get some idea of what the problem could be along with information on approximate repair costs (a $ range) and turn around time. Tom at Ableman TV was the only person that would give her his time to explain what he thought it might be and an approximate cost and turn around time. So we took our TV to them (we live in Portland) and within three days we had it back in working order for $165. We are happy campers and would recommend this shop to anyone needing TV repair. They also have a supply of refurbished TVs that are very reasonable. Read the other reviews--they reflect our great experience. I agree, these guys ROCK!
