My son and I went to this rink for a birthday party and then came back another day just for fun. I wish there were more places like this still around. As the other reviewer said, no this isn't the biggest, most sparkling 'roller palace' out there and yes, it could use a few renovations. But if you want a place that welcomes you, is fun and safe and is a family/ locally owned business ran by people who care about your business you can't go wrong with these guys.
This rink has charm and color and personality that you can not find in the big chains and sanitized palaces. It is like stepping back in time to when we were kids. Some people may not like that- quirky, old-fashioned, and fun might not be to their taste but my son and I had a blast at the birthday party when we really did not expect to. We had a great enough time to be willing to drive a 1/2 hour to go back and we will be happy to continue supporting this place for as long as we can.
