At the last minute the dr. called and told me the cat would need sedation for it's checkup and shots. Dr. said that they couldn't handle the cat ""safely"" and it was going to scrath them. Funny because cat is declawed. Cat has never needed sedation for shots or check up in 5 years at 3 different vets. Perhaps they don't handle the animal correctly. It was a $65 upcharge because there was no time to take the cat somewhere else as I had scheduled to board for that evening and shots were not up to date. I was over a barrel and I felt they took advantage of the situation by not calling until 3:30 about this problem. I took the cat in before 11am.
