THE PERSON WHO WROTE THE ABOVE BAD REVIEW IS NOT BEING TRUTHFULL! I'm not sure what their motive is in writing this bad review. I'm an ex-employee of roto rooter so I have no stake invested in the company, but I will tell you that they are hands down the fairest and most professional company in omaha. All the service techs are very professional. First of all there is ""No Way"" a service tech from roto rooter would leave a big mess in someones house and not clean it up. It wouldn't happen, but even if it did, the company would have reimbursed the customer for any damage to thier rug and made sure that thier house was cleaned and or compensating them on thier bill, and the employee would be delt with accordingly for his poor behavior. Second of all Roto Rooter has the best sewer and drain technicians around, and there is no way they could not fix them problem. This customers drain line was either broken, and was informed of that but didn't want to fix it and didn't want to pay the company for their time working on it either. When a technician comes to work on a drain at your house they have no way to know if it is broken or not untill they work on it for a little while. If they find it is broken then it can't be fixed by snaking the drain, it must be repaired, but a plumber should still be compensated for the time they spent working on the drain. Or the customer above may have had them stop working on it cause they thought it should be fixed in an hour and didn't want to pay for further time. Customers don't understand sometimes that it can take time to clean a really bad drain line once in a while. I've worked on some kitchen sink drain lines or sewers that are so full of heavey sludge/grease build up that it's taken 5hrs or more to get the gunk out of it so it will drain again. Granted these are not freguent but they do get that bad. So give your service tech a break, they really are trying to get your problem fixed as quickly as possible, and rest assured that when you call Roto Rooter plumbing to come work on your house or business that you will have honest, professional, curtious, and very skilled technicians coming to work on your problem. If you ever have another plumbing company tell you that you need to do a costly repair due to a broken sewer line or etc. always call roto rooter for a 2nd opinion before making that investment. Because roto rooter techicians are so skilled, they can often get drians and sewers lines open by cableing them that other companies say are broken. thanks, Seann
