I would like to respond to the 1 star people below. I don't think Mary needs to worry about keeping customers like you. The policies are CLEARLY written. Saying NO, is not RUDE.
If you are considering shopping at Mary's PLEASE do not take the 1 star review into consideration. The point was they are horrible customer service because they will not return a halter without tags and not receipt. I'm not sure any good business owner who would do so...but I digress. Let me tell you about our experience.
We visited the shop the first time this summer. I don't remember the name of the person who helped me, but she made an overwhelming decision easy. She answered questions from someone who had no clue what she was doing. She helped me figure out what to buy. She gave alternatives. She showed me the expensive and the budget-conscious options. I really appreciated the customer service.
It's run as a small business. This is not a large national corporation that has money set aside to make the scammers in this world be quiet.
I personally will spend my money on places that truly value the customer who will be back. Not people who want to make her pay for their own irresponsibility.
