Maybe I went on a bad day, but this was my first and most likely my last visit to Applegarth's. The office building is nice, but that was the only thing positive about my experience there. The receptionist (Teri) was extremely unfriendly...the only thing she cared about was seeing my insurance card and collecting my co-pay (I've never paid a co-pay before seeing a doctor, it's always been after the office visit). The receptionist is the face of your company...they should be pleasant and greet each patient with a smile!!! I don't even know if Teri had teeth! The office was constantly busy with folks coming in and out and she treated every one of them with the same uninterested attitude. When I was finally called back there was no"" Hi. How are you?"" Just my name and this way. The first room she was going to put me in had a MOUNTAIN OF BLOODY GUAZE on the table, so she quickly turned around and put me in a different room. Seeing that was definitely gross though. When Dr. Applegarth did come in he was nice, but just seemed like he had a million things going on...my appointment felt very rushed. I arrived 20 min early as instructed to fill out paperwork, waited 1/2 an hour to be seen, and then, I SWEAR, my appointment was less then 5 min with Dr. Applegarth. I left very disappointed.
