DO NOT TAKE YOUR HARLEY THERE! Just a couple of hours after I pick up my Road King from D&S Cycle (5,000 miles service) I did a visual inspection on it inside of my garage. I've noticed the following: oil leaking from derby cover, derby cover not centered, air filter ornament not vertical (rotated approx 45 degrees), oil on the rider floorboard and oily fingerprints all over. I left a voice message for D&S Cycle explaining why I'm not happy and I left my phone number for them to call me Monday. No response. Tuesday I've decided to take my bike to an authorized dealer. They did an inspection and the following safety related items were out of specs/needed adjustment: steering, clutch, belt, derby cover and low air pressure on both tires. What intrigues me the most is that after telling them that I'm going in a 3K+ miles trip with my bike, they ignored basic safety check points mentioned above. The reason I didn't take my bike back to D&S Cycle Supply is because I don't have the luxury to spend time in a shop that leaves your bike leaking oil after the ""5K service"". Since I already paid for another 5K service (receipt and list with discrepancies found available) what would you do if you were in my place?
