had my 99 Trans Am Conv. taken to this shop at 1816 Spring Cypress Rd. It cost around $1600 the first time with a new shift kit. They told me they had to put a new transmission in my car. Apperntly it was a rebuilt transmission not a new one. I had to pay around $390 extra the 9th time and $670 exrta the eleventh time after they supposedly put in a new transmission . Now the transmission broke agian............ I talked with my attorney and there is nothing I can do as long as they are trying to fix it. He told I should have never paid extra for the work after the first payment for the transmission due to the fact that it was all replaced. Of cource I could not get my car unless I paid.... This time I had to find a reciept....... Which I moved, but I did find one........ Which it is not the last one I got. Looking for the $670 reciept........ It seems that a company should have records of those. Plus I did not get a reciept everytime. Of cource... I was told new owners took over and all new employees this time. I hope they will get it right this time. I will post later for an update to this company..... Hopefully these people know what they are doing and I don't have to file suit. We will see....... DO DO DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE OR ANY MR TRANSMISSION PLACES IF YOU WANT IT FIXED. IF YOU WANT TO PAY PAY PAY and PAY MORE and NOT GET YOUR VEHICLE FIXED. AND THEN PAY EVEN MORE BECAUSE IT IS CHEAPER TO PAY HALF THAT IT IS TO FILE SUIT. THIS IS THE BEST PLACE FOR YOU.......CORPERATE DOES NOT HELP. THEY ALSO SAY PAY HALF IT IS ALOT CHEAPER. As you can see I am back.... They wanted to charge me half the cost to fix my car now... This would have been the 14th time back in this shop. As stated "It is cheaper for me to pay half than it is to take them to court" said Alex after I faxed (Emailed) him one of the reciepts that I found with the date of 09-29-2009. Today is 09-10-2009...That is not one year. Which I contacted him on 9-02-2010. I have to find the first reciept or second reciept I have that I paid extra for a 3 year warranty. I have reciepts somewhere dated after 9-29-2009, but I have to find it. Which I will. I will be filing in Harris County on them and on the corperate office in Midlothian, IL. If anyone one also wants to file a class action suit against the company in addition email me at scottthornton99@yahoo dot com. How does a company get by with not doing what they say??????
