I have not had a bad experience at this restaurant.
Despite being packed into a strip mall by the overcrowded Starbuck's and Olive Garden across from Westfield, Oishi has all the appeal and charm of the classic ""family-owned-and-operated hole-in-the-wall."" The small staff takes pride in their work and puts forth an effort to make you feel welcome. The service is fast, too!
The portions of all the dishes I've sampled from are generous given the price. I find the meals to taste as if they were made at home as opposed to being over-salted or over-spiced for an industrial kitchen. I find myself eating the teriyaki the most and if you feel hungry - definitely go for the bento box. You will not be disappointed by the ample options and combinations you can put together.
They may not have all of the obscure sushi on the menu that you're looking for - but for an authentic taste in a relaxed atmosphere that you're not paying an arm and a leg for - this is the best to be found in town!
Pros: friendly, affordable, great service and high quality food
Cons: generic appearance
